Because the doctors weren't sure what exactly Charlie reacted to the day we went to the ER with hives, we decided to "test" at home. I made sure we had the Benadryl handy and gave him 3 bites of scrambled egg. Within 2 1/2 hrs, Charlie was itching and uncomfortable. I had to put socks over his hands to keep him from scratching his face and ears. I gave him the medicine right when I saw the spots on his face, so luckily it didn't spread to the rest of his body. Check out my very sad, itchy, but lovable baby.

"What's happening to me Momma?"

"Oh great! I'm allergic to eggs!"

Oh no!!!! Boy, Luxie and Charlie have been a sorry pair recently! He looks so sad in the first pic...but still so cute too! Good thing you discovered what's been causing the allergic reaction - and thank goodness it wasn't from cheese cubes :-) We're looking forward to seeing you both real soon - hope Charlie is feeling better than he was on Weds.
