The Bravest Boy Ever

Charlie went the MOA to enjoy the new Nickelodeon rides with Aunt Heather. I wasn't sure how he would do since he was afraid of the rides at the county fair. He went on four rides, including one on his own (almost)! He had lots of fun and needed a HUGE nap afterwards.

"I know Dad, Mom picked the girlest dragon!"

"Mom, did you know we're moving?!"

"Driving a truck just like my Great Grandpa George. Are you buckled in Mom?"

"Hold on Aunt Heath"

"See you at snack time Mom"

The hot air balloon ride - Aunt Kathy would be proud

"You see Heather, the air blows into the balloon and we take off. Get it?"

"Don't be scared Heather, I'm here"

"I think I'm done Mom"

A DQ Treat

We got Charlie his first dish of ice cream from DQ this week but didn't allow him to eat it in the house!! (I know what you're think) We sat outside on the front porch and enjoyed the scenery and the bugs.

A Much Needed Playdate with Cousins

Last Wednesday was our monthly playdate with Nama Linda, Aunt Emily, and cousins Claire and Karlie. Charlie was in desperate need of the fun and attention from everyone. Tim and I have been really busy and wore out and I think the lil guy is feeling it. We had a fun day playing in the new daycare room downstairs, driving cars and blowing bubbles outside, and making Halloween masks. MEEOOWWWWWW!

GO VIKES!

On Sunday Tim went to his first Vikings game in years. He was invited by his Uncle John who has season tickets every year. They left the house at 6am to start tailgating and didn't return until 4 that afternoon. Before the game, Tim was beamed in the head with a football from some idiots next to them. He had a great time even though the Vikes lost 15 to 18 :(

Thanks Becky and John for a great weekend filled with lots of "silly" fun

One Job To The Next

Well as many of you know, I have started my newest business! I am now running a daycare out of our basement. I never thought I would want to do something like this but hope that one day it turns into a preschool setting. Charlie loves the new space, toys, and of course the company of other little people. I haven't done any advertising and already have so many interested.
I am still tutoring in the evenings and trying to find the time for my hubby. Thank goodness he is use to having a wife that is a work-aholic (a HAGGAR thru and thru) ! Since we have been together, I have always had two jobs.

Charles and Tim will always be my #1!

How Old Are YOU?!

Saturday was the day to celebrate Linda's September birthday and my August birthday with the "Linda Olson Family". We had a fun afternoon of playing outside, goofin' around in the rain, and wrestling in the living room. Charlie enjoys his cousins' company but isn't sure about the Barbies and ponies.

"Don't come yet Nama! I haven't finished your card."

On the Road Again

Charlie and I headed to Sioux Falls on Friday after Auden left to see family. Charlie can't get enough of his Papa and Grandma. I don't think he realizes I was still with him over the weekend. On Saturday we went to the famous Falls Park where Charlie and Papa scared Grandma to death. Papa kept putting Charlie in the water (just feet) but it was a pretty fast current. It was a beautiful day for a stroll in the park. We had an awesome weekend and can't wait to see them again (hopefully sooner than later).
