A Weekend of Celebrations

Papa and Grandma came a few weeks ago to play with the boys, celebrate Grandma's birthday and Father's Day with Papa, and attend my cousin James' wedding.  It was a fun-filled, entertaining weekend.  The boys bought their grandparents new clothes for their new and improved bodies (together they have lost 60lbs!)!  On Sunday, they took Charlie with them to Rapid for his first camp adventure with cousin Malaki.  Charlie made it all 7 days without Mom and Dad.  It was hard on me but he had a great time with everyone and loved his camp experience.  It was weird for Tim and I to only have 2 kids - we never had just 2 kids!  The lil boys missed their big bro and were so happy to see him when he returned.
A huge thank you to Papa, Gran, Aunt Mary, Aunt Tina, and cousin Mak for taking care of him, making him feel at home and comfortable, and loving him to pieces.

Mr. and Mrs. James Haggar.  Julie was a beautiful bride!

Happy 60th birthday Mom!!

Grandma's big secret revealed!  Papa has rented a huge cabin in Hill City for all 18 Haggars, Schweitzers, Olsons!  We are doing this at the end of the summer but wanted Grandma to see what she, Papa, and all 8 grandkids will be wearing.  Tim and I found shirts that say "Thing 1" all the way up to "Thing 8" for Baby Zak.  My thoughtful husband also made her a picture representing where we all started and where we are now. :)

Opening her presents

Her new outfit for her skinny bod!
Papa reading his card first after CT told him that was the "right" way to open presents. (bossy!)

God Gave Me You For the UPS AND DOWNS!

I am so very blessed to have such wonderful women in my life that I can run to anytime.  We had our annual girls' weekend over Memorial weekend and it was a blast!  Hugs, Laughter, Tears, Chocolate, and Wine!
Saturday was a celebration for Mary's baby bump - we can't wait to meet Zacharia Timothy!  Then we headed to see our Great Aunt Marty to celebrate her birthday.  We ended the day with shopping, games, pizza, and inappropriate games!
Sunday was a Wyant/Scott family get together at the Cracker Barrel - it was Grma Helen's favorite.  After breakfast we headed to the cemetery to plant flowers for our Haggar and Scott grandparents.  Then we went swimming and barbecued at Aunt Debbie's.  The night was complete after seeing "what to expect when you're expecting" to celebrate Mary's birthday.
We said our goodbyes at Panera on Monday morning.  Life is constantly changing for all of us BUT we know to always find each other for a good time!  We will continue to make time for one another because we are "stitched" together until the end!
(the wonderful ladies I had the pleasure of spending time with over the weekend were - sisters Christina and Mary, Mom, sis in law Faye, Aunts Debbie, Kathy, Teresa, Marty, and Cindy, and cousins Sarah, Jennie, and Jessie, and of course my beautiful nieces Isabelle and Sophia.)

Visiting the Scott grandparents

She was soooo tired after planting flowers, swimming, and playing at Debbie's.  She woke up to buy a new dress with Grandma.  (yes my brother joined us for part of girls' weekend :)
