Haircuts and Lobsters

Aunt Tina and Char's date involved lobsters and haircuts. Charlie has been getting haircuts at home for the past year bc he wouldn't sit for the girls. We tried again and with Tina's help, he did awesome and laughed most of the time. Aunt Tina held his hand when things got scary for him but he was crackin' jokes and laughing most of the time. He then thanked Kelly for the haircut and making him look like Daddy. Then they had dinner at Charlie favorite date spot, Red Lobster. He loves to touch the lobsters and talk to them.
Thanks for the date Aunt Tina!! So glad to see that "yellow" makes it on all your dates!

Nama and Aunt break down the door

Tim's mom and sister, Heather came down on Sunday to hang with the boys. After lunch, playin' everything and anything, and giggling, the boys passed out for a very late nap. Charlie, Max, and Lincoln enjoyed every minute of their afternoon with Aunt Heather and Nama. Lincoln clung onto Aunt Heather and Max wanted Nama to read, read, and read some more. Charlie was lucky enough to ride with them to lunch which always makes him feel special b/c the lil ones always ride with Mom and Dad. He gave them great directions and demanded the music be turned up. Love to Rock!!
Thanks ladies for a great afternoon and quality time with the boys. They will hang on to the laughs until the next time. The boys are looking forward to having their Nama as their Valentine's date!

Genius' In Training

This is the name of my business but I believe these boys of ours are well on their way to being the best of _______. I'm not ready to fill in the blank yet. Charlie is going to do great things, helping people in some way. Maxwell is going to use his hands constructing things. Lincoln is going to break a lot of hearts and probably be an actor in a very dramatic TV series.
The boys love to do so many different things right now... pattern/color peg board, shape sorters, stacking blocks, using their magnetic poles and balls, pretending to be a marching band, and playing lots of games. Charlie is madly addicted to the Dinosaur Train dinos and show. He recently bought "Buddy" with his chores' money and had no problem sharing with the boys. Max and Linc have learned how to roar like a dinosaur, vroooom like a race car, pashoo like a gun, sing like the Backstreet Boys, dance like their Daddy, and giggle like a monkey. As our peds doc and Charlie's preschool teacher have said Charlie is their #1 teacher and they are learning from him everyday. Today Max pointed to CT's chin and Charlie says "Max that is called a chin, CHIN".
Love to kiss

Max loves to build towers with the color pegs

Always giggling (he was hushed in church today!)

Two minds are better than one - working together to stack their blocks

Linc doesn't care what goes where when he stacks them

Max on the other hand is very picky about how to do things

WE WANT CHARLIE!!!!!

The boys hate it when Charlie goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. You would think they would enjoy not having to compete with one other child but they love their bro and hate to see him go. Charlie always gets a warm welcome when he gets off the bus.

"I cry everytime my big brother gets on the bus!"
"I'm going to check and see if he's home"
Max has to double check

"He's here Mama! He's here!"
"Hey boys, I'm back!"
Hugs and kisses all around. Then it is time for the lil boys to dig in Charlie's bag and see what he brought home.

Snow Place Like Home!

We took the boys sledding and they loved it. It didn't last very long due to the chill in the air but there was lots of giggles and smiles.

Tim and I did a little experience with our hats. Everyone seems to have a different opinion as to who looks like who so we thought we would see if we could tell this way. Aunt Nancy told us on Saturday that she thinks Max looks like me. WHAT DO YOU THINK???? Comment if you'd like - we would love to hear from you!

Silly Grandma Millie!!

Are we leaving yet?

The Best Lookin' Dates

"I'm comin' to get you Grma Millie"

"I'm so excited I just peed!"

The boys' Great Grandma Millie's birthday was January 8th (1929). We were able to get up to see her today and take her out for a special birthday lunch. Tim's aunts Becky and Nancy joined us for lunch. They always make time to see us when we are visiting Grma and the boys love catching up with them. The boys had a great time playing and eating ice cream with their great grandma. We are so blessed to have her in our lives and there is nothing but smiles when we are together!

It was time to dance. Grma had music on and Max couldn't help but show his moves.
Nothin' but LOVE

The Olson Men with their beautiful (great) grandmother

Grma pulled this toy out of its original box and told us that Tim's dad use to play with it when he was little. She wanted the boys to be ohhh soo careful with it and they were.

Lunch time - CT had Grma peel all of the skin off his chicken! And she gladly did it to please him

Great Aunts Becky and Nancy holding the vulture Maxwell

The Aunts took the boys for a walk to the bar and Lincoln decided he needed to see behind the bar! So he walked back there to see if he could mix a drink.

Max was attached to Aunt Becky and had to taste-test her lunch
