Nurse Nama On Duty

(Charlie says) Uncle Terry and me played outside. Nama slept in Papa and Gramma's room and then I woke her up. We watched Thomas. Well my ear was hurting and we have an ear infection and my ear had nothing in it. And the clinic was in the mall with Dad.
(Mom's turn) That was interesting to say the least. Everytime he said something he would finish with "write that down Momma". I had to get his version of the weekend since I wasn't here. I had a girls' weekend in Sioux Falls and left Tim with three sick little boys. I had asked different family members to be here to help Tim while I was gone and his Mom and my Uncle Terry volunteered their weekend to help my husband. THANK YOU! I hadn't even gotten 30 miles into my drive when I got a call from Tim saying Charlie needed to go to the doctor. Needless to say, all three of our children had double ear infections so it was great for Tim to have his Mom aka Nurse Linda here to help. Uncle Terry is always great to chase, play sand with, and go down the slides.
Thank you to both of you for snuggling my boys, keeping Tim company and "calm", and allowing me to get time to myself for the first time in I don't know how long! BUT the big thank you goes to Timothy Jon. What a trooper he was and of course got no sleep either night (no suprise).

My dad doesn't mind sharing his grandchildren with his younger brother (when he isn't in town hehe)

We appreciate your help and Linc appreciated the plane ride

Max is wondering where his beard is!

Nama with two of her grandsons

Gotta love that smile - warms any heart

It was rainy and chilly but nothing keeps Charles T. and Uncle Terry inside, especially a double ear infection

The happy Nama and the unhealthy Charlie and happy-go-lucky Linc

Lincoln loves Nama snuggles

Lincoln just got Nama down for her nap (Tim said the babes wouldn't nap the whole weekend)

Charlie's job is done - one tired Nama

I love you...

not only for what you are, But for what I am when I am with you!

My wonderfully amazing husband Timothy Jon and I on our way to Heather Rose Olson's big day.

Charlie was "Ring Security" and wore his tuxedo well

Father and Son here to support the happy couple

When Charlie got there, his new Uncle said "Charlie you aren't suppose to look better than me!"

Charlie was checking things out before the crowd got there

Miss Avery Whittington helped her Dad seat the guests

The lovelies Karlie Ann and Claire Bear hanging with Charles T.

Tim with his newest brother Ben

Ben greeted all of his groomsmen with a big thank you as they got to the front of the church

Heather's one of a kind older brother walked her down the aisle with pride and love in his eyes for his little sister. He was looking forward to this day ever since Ben proposed to Heather at our dining room table. Tim has a relationship with Heather that goes beyond brother and sister. He is her protector, her rock, and her number one fan. He has supported every decision that Heather has made, especially when she said yes to Ben's BIG question. He was more than honored to take her on her last walk as a single young woman.

"Yes, we support this couple on their jouney through their marriage and the rest of their lives"

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt with the heart.

Charlie's beautiful cousins dancing away but he just wanted to watch

'Aunt Jeanne" - Charlie's play doh buddy

The blushing bride with her aunt michelle

Father Daughter Dance

Tim filled some huge shoes that day - His Father's

I'm not sure if Heather thought about this but this will probably be the only bride Tim ever gives away, the only Father Daughter Dance he will have. Thank you Heather for giving Tim this opportunity. He couldn't have been prouder that moment!

Tim's great lifetime friend Ben Oberle

We cut out of the party around 10:30 which was plenty long enough for Charles T. Aunt Heather was just getting warmed up but we had 2 sick babies to get home to and a very tired toddler ready for bed. Sometimes you wish things could be different but when you're a parent that is your first priority.

We are so happy for Ben and Heather and look forward to watching them create a life together.

Tim says that one thing that his Grandpa Rol taught him was this: Always call your wife Sweetie and always kiss her infront of your grandchildren. Wise Man

Grandparents in Shining Armor

Papa and Grandma were back for another week and left this morning. Charlie stood in the driveway watching them pull away throwing kisses toward the truck. It was great to have them here at the right time once again. Lincoln had RSV and ear infection which he gave to Max and now Charlie is on the couch with a very high temp moaning. I don't know what I would do without the help of family especially in times like this. Tim and I were also able to attend his sister's wedding with Charlie and leave the sick babies at home with Papa and Gran. Thanks once again for being wonderful!

Instant bonds - Grandfather and Grandson

Aunt Tina and Papa playing bean bags in the backyard

Pushing Lincoln in the swing

Max thought this beer would help make him feel better but Papa wouldn't share

Grandma's art class with Charlie and his buddies Emma and Grant

Max showing off his new hat that Grandma got him

Charlie opening up his big box from Uncle Chris and Aunt Mary - The Gronckle and Night Furry!!

Thanks guys he loves them! (he was on the phone with Mary giving her a play by play while he opened the box)

Papa left with a few less hairs in his beard after all the tugging Linc and Max did but he didn't mind

Papa and all most all of his grandsons just missing Malaki

Papa tried to get his work done while he was here (it's never done!)

Papa and Charlie flying their new kite

This was after Linc was diagnosed with RSV and Max was still happy, happy, happy

This was something my dad and I did together all the time when I was a kid and Charlie is very much into puzzles these days so it was great to watch.

When Charlie got a piece in Papa would say "Correct, Charles is smokin'"

Now Charlie says to us "I'm smokin' hard Momma!"

Grandma trying to make Lincoln feel better. They are real troopers. We were gone two nights and these two took care of two sick babies for us. Dedication is the word that comes to mind. Thank you!

"Make me dizzy Papa! Again, again!"
