A Fun Day with Mama

Since Charlie got a special trip to Rapid City with me, I took Max and Linc to MOA for rides and Legoland.  They loved every minute of it and so did I!  We ended our trip by stopping by Uncle Terry's with ice cream!

1st ride by themselves!  Trying out the buttons

Legos!

They couldn't get enough of the Star Wars Legos

Max was so tired on the way home that his water bottle leaked all over his pants and he didn't realize it until we got home.

A Secret Spring Trip

Charlie and I took a secret trip to Rapid City over Spring break.  Dad stayed home with the "midgets" and they had a blast together.  Charlie went to the movie, The Croods, and the Rush's last game of the season with some cousins.  We played games, read books, and taught Charlie how to play pool.  I think the highlight of Charlie's weekend was playing with Baby Zak.  He forgot what it was like to have baby brothers.

Cousins and buddies!  Zak is such a happy boy.

GO RUSH!

Game food - Pizza and hot dog

Our group had quite the variety of weirdos around us but we made the most of it

Papa and his buddy excited that Rush won in a shoot out!

Mak and Zak had a sleepover at Papa and Gran's because the weather was crummy.  We couldn't be happier to hang with them!

Zak wanted to watch Dozer eat but when Dozer saw that he had an audience he scared Zak.  Bottom lip came out and he fell to his bum.  :(

Happier baby ever!

Painful tickles from Papa

After getting up at 5:30 3 days in a row, this lil guy was exhausted.

The Luck of the Irish

We went to the St. Peter parade for the last time as St. Peter Saints.  We love the bands and this year one of Charlie's classroom helpers was crowned the queen.  He was so excited to see Mrs. Brown on the float.  We always hope for warmer weather but this year was especially cold.
After the parade we had a great get together at the Banks' household with their family of 4 and the Greisens. Great Green Gathering - Irish stew - Black and Tans - Sherbet drinks - and more!

Week #11 "PLAY"

The boys had been playing the Angry Birds game (their way) for an hour.  When you find something that captivates their attention that long, you run with it!

Week #10 "CHANGE"

I wasn't able to get a picture of the wood before Dad worked it into a piece of art BUT this is my interpretation of CHANGE!  This is my niece Kyra's new headboard for her big girl bed.  My dad's talent is not lost on me.  I am so impressed with what he is able to do with a blank slate.

Our favorite hobby/workout

SNOWSHOEING!
Ever since our trip last March to Castle Danger, Tim and I were hooked on snowshoes.  We finally purchased our own and love it!  We can't wait to get the boys their own pairs and make it a family activity.  But right now I will not complain one bit that it is Tim and I's break from reality!  There is something to say about the peace and quiet in the woods, hiking with my best friend, and sweating our butts off.

This deer was not afraid of us at all.  Reminds me of being in the Hills

"Lets go Babe!"

Always looking for the hardest path to take

LOVE this photo.  It was 4:30 in the afternoon and the sun had started to descend.

I didn't follow him this time.  He climbed to the top and them made several jumps down.

Love Birds!

Our new shoes!

Can't wait for the next time.

Week 9 "Out of the Shadows"

Tim has been helping me with these assignments lately and I have to say I like where his mind goes.  So OUR interpretation of Out of the Shadows is from our snowshoeing hike at 7 mile creek.
