The End of 1st grade

Charlie had a great end to 1st grade but hated seeing it come.  He had fun on track and field day, had lunch and recess with brothers and mom, and walked to school for the last day with neighbors.  The 1st grade teachers set up "camp" for the students the last week of school.  So the kids made tents, got letters from family, and ate a ton of smores!  Thanks to Aunt Faye, Izzy, and Sophie for sending Charlie mail while he was at "camp".
He had a wonderful teacher this year that has prepared him for 2nd grade.  We appreciate all of her hard work and the kindness she has shown Charlie.

Crazy lunchroom!

Mrs. Brodt - thank you for your dedication to your students and all the extras you have given Charlie this year.

A blessed Mama with 3 beautiful Sons

Mother's Day was just another great day with my amazing boys and wonderful husband.  I was so very proud to have Charlie participate in the Race for the Cure Mother's Day breast cancer 5K.  Charlie was racing for his reading teacher Mrs. McNulty and his great aunt Kathy.  Today was just another day for me to teach my sons what it means to care about others and be apart of something greater than themselves.  I want to thank my sons for putting up with my crabby days,  for hugging and kissing my tears away when I'm sad, and for making me smile and warming my heart on a daily basis.  I love you Charles, Maxwell, and Lincoln!  Thanks for making me one happy Mama.

We went to the garden at Children's Hospital and visited some of Linda's coworkers to help us remember Nama.

Charlie and I ready to go!

What a guy?!

The twins and Tim joined us at the finish line!

My cup runneth over...
