Fall Fun 2012

Uncle Tim and Aunt Faye treated us to the JellyStone Park in Sioux Falls this weekend which was a blast!  Grandma treated us to a hotel room where we stayed with Aunt Mary and cousin Mak.  We were also fortunate to spend the day with my cousin, Sarah, her daughter, Brooklyn, and fiance, Josh.  It was just what we needed - lots of laughs, playtime for lil ones and the adults, and birthday celebration for Tim O. and Tim H. (missing Papa).
Thanks to all who made the day possible and created an entertaining weekend for us!  Loved every minute of our trip.

This was the huge inflated pillow that we got to jump on.  It was AWESOME!  Josh and Tim stood on either side and jumped so those of us in the middle were flying around.
Everyone loved it except Max.

Mom and Sons Break

This was the 1st MEA break for this family.  I am so glad that I get these two days with the boys.  We were bummed that Dad had to work but we made sure we didn't waste our 2 days together.  We hit the Mankato Children's Museum and visited Dad at work on Thursday.  Friday we played basketball and ran on the track at the St. Peter community center, and then visited the library.  I was sad when Friday night came and I had to start my new parttime job and leave the boys.  I don't plan on wasting any free time I have with these three!  I love them to pieces and can't wait for the next day off we have together!

This was Lincoln Thursday afternoon.  I grabbed lunch for them to eat on the way home from the museum and Lincoln fell asleep with food in his mouth!  Mission accomplished!

Timothy Jon...another year older

Tim is quite an incredible husband, father, brother, uncle, son, and friend to all of us!  His birthday was a complete success thanks to his sisters and their families, along with his entertaining sons.  The house was crazy loud with laughter, great stories about Nama/Mom O., and comments towards the football players on TV.  We spent half the night opening numerous cards sent to the family in Linda's name.  It is still amazing to think about how many people's lives were touched by her and her smile.
We were also blessed with an unforgettable gift given to each of us from Heather's friend/cousin, Kayla.  She put together a book of pictures she took from our Light the Night walk for Linda.  Words can't describe how much that means to all of us!
Nama/Mom O. - We wish you could have been here with us tonight.  But just know that we laughed, hugged, and enjoy our time together.  And you were still the center of a few of the jokes!  We love you!

"It can't be, they're 3?!"

September 25, 2012, Maxwell George and Lincoln Thomas turned 3!  Tim and I cannot believe where the last three years have gone.  We always have said that we are blessed to have the experience of being parents of twins.  We love them so much and look forward to the next three years!

Time for our birthday sundae

Auntie Mary (as busy as she is) made both the boys their birthday cakes again!  We had plans to celebrate together in Sioux Falls but we didn't get there.  Papa delivered the cakes to the boys here and they couldn't have been happier!
Chewbacca was Lincoln's and Master Yoda was Maxwell's

Time for presents with Papa and Grandma

They got their new coats/snowpants with sweet bomber hats!

Auntie Mary, Uncle Chris, malaki, and zak got the boys new snugglies, Chewie and Bugsby.  Bugsby reads books to Max and Chewie growls at Lincoln.  PERFECT!

Time to blow out the candles

Uncle Tim and Auntie Faye came to us and brought presents as well

This lil boy was in heaven when he opened his huge Yoda!

Off to the Animal Shelter to drop off Max and Lincoln's 3rd donation.  They were not happy because the lady said they couldn't visit the animals at that time.
We want to thank Papa, Grandma, Auntie Faye, Uncle Tim, "Uncle" Chuck, and "Auntie" Sheena for helping the boys make this donation a success!

This is a picture our Daycare Provider captured for us.  She knew I was having a hard time at work and not being with the boys.  Thanks Alisa!!

Aunt Faye and Uncle Tim told us they were taking the boys overnight with them to a hotel so we could get some much needed rest.  Everyone had their sleeping bags, a snuggly, and PJ's ready to go.
We were told there was no tears and everyone had a great time.  I don't doubt it at all!  Thank you so much.  The night alone was needed and appreciated!

Time to say our goodbyes at Panera

We appreciate all the help that we received over the weekend.  We needed all of it and couldn't have gotten through without it.  After Papa left, Auntie Tina came for a few days to stay with us and Grandma.  We survived a terrible ordeal with their help and the boys are so lucky to have had the distraction.  From the bottom of our hearts, thank you all that were here in person and those that have continued support through phone calls and emails.
