Charlie's Spring Program

We really enjoyed Charlie's spring program and can't get enough of those big brown eyes and beautiful smile!  2 of his songs were done with sign language which was very impressive.

Charlie absolutely adores his teacher, Mrs. Hartfiel!  He is sure going to miss her this summer and after the move.  He told me this week that the best prize you can earn in class is lunch with his teacher.  Then I asked him if he was excited for summer and he yells "NO".  I asked him why and he said "because then I won't see Mrs. Hartfiel anymore!"

A Fun Filled Thursday Night

Last Thursday Dad was golfing so I took the boys to a carnival at my school and we also attending the Vehicle Fair in St. Peter.  The boys had a blast and crashed when we got home (so did mama).

Linc couldn't get the hang of this thing.  He was so frustrated that he couldn't go fast on it.

Max was content to sit and smile!

This hammer was so heavy.  By the time he got it in the air it just dropped on the game.

Week #19 "Reminders"

little reminders of the ones we love...

"Mom, you held me in your arms, I hold you in my heart"
This is the rock that my mom gave Tim for our garden after his mom past.  It is a wonderful reminder of her.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

.."I BELIEVE IN LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT"...Because I'VE BEEN LOVING MY MOTHER SINCE I OPENED MY EYES....

I wanted to participate in the Race for the Cure again this Mother's Day.  Last year Tim accompanied me and this year my mom and sister in law Heather completed the 5K with me.  It was very special for me to walk with both of them.  My mom had her knee replaced 6 months ago and you couldn't tell!  She was a trooper and never stopped.  We walked for my Aunt Kathy and friend Heather who concurred Breast Cancer and came out on top.  They are an inspiration to all of us!
One of the mothers that we met while walking had such an incredible story that I need to share...She had her daughter with her and her sign said "in celebration of Mommy and me".  She is 3.5 yrs old.  Her mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer while she was pregnant.  They are both survivors!  I am inspired!

3, 2, 1 GO!

We took a pic of Mom at all the mile markers.  Her 1st 5K!

Thinking of her little sister, Kathy, the whole way

I am blessed to call you MOM!  I love you and appreciate everything you stand for!

Charlie giving Grandma her present from us

Hooray!  I got a new golf bag for Mother's Day!  Thank you boys!

This was the card that came with my flowers.  I feel so loved and happy to have this family of mine!

More celebration with Papa and Gran

Papa and Grandma got here on the 10th to help Charlie celebrate his birthday, accompany him to the Theresa House, and spend Mother's Day together.  We had such a great time hiking, swimming, eating lots of desserts, and playing outside.  We appreciate our time together and your effort to visit frequently!  We love you!

Charlie's favorite place to eat with his grandparents - DINOS!
They put the biggest sparkler in his dessert and the whole restaurant sang to him which made his day.

Time to add the toppings

I think Max's bowl had more toppings than ice cream

Lovin' on Grandma

Charlie's aunts and uncle sent his presents with Papa and Grandma.  Thank you!

Hiking with Uncle Terry

Charlie found a walking stick so he could walk like the "old guys"

Brothers and Friends

Charlie got across the bank of water by hopping on the rocks.

"High Five Papa!  I did it!"

Happy Birthday to Uncle Terry and Charlie!
