Starting Something New

Today was Charlie's 1st day of kindergarten, my first day with kids at my new school, and Max and Lincoln's 1st full day of daycare/school.  A lot is changing and they are taking it like champs.  Everyday gets a little easier for us.  We all had tears today but made it out alive!

Walking with Max and Lincoln with their big boy backpacks on

We were so grateful for Charlie's friend, Preston, who is one year older.  He lives next door and held Charlie's hand getting on the bus.

His 1st locker!
We are so proud of you Charlie and everything you are and will be.  We love you!

Hills City Cabin (rapid part3)

For Mom's 60th birthday, Dad rented a cabin in Hill City that fit all of us in it!  Tim and I found Thing 1- 8 shirts for all the grandkids and grandparents to wear for Grandma's big birthday.  We thought it was the perfect weekend to get together right after the vow renewal.
We thought about camping in a tent right outside the cabin but we decided to "camp" in the theater room of the cabin.  The kids LOVED the idea and 5 of them made it through the night in there!
Thank you Dad for making it possible for us to be together for the weekend.  We appreciate and cherish the time we had as a family!  HAPPY 60TH MOM/GRAN!!

40 years and counting (Rapid Part2)

LOVE - bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never ends.
1 Corinthians 13

After 40 years of marriage, my parents renewed their wedding vows in front of their children and grandchildren.  It was a wonderful thing to witness and something I will never forget.  I am proud to be apart of this family, which all started with these two incredible people!  Mom and Dad have shown us how to give to others, how to love unconditionally, how to build a family, and how to trust in HIM.  We couldn't even thank them enough for what they have done for all 16 of us!
P.S. I have never seen either one of them look as good as they did this day!
