I Don't Have A Family Tree I Have A Forest!

We headed to Rapid City on Tuesday to beat the snow. It was a good thing BUT the trip home took us 11 hrs due to the wonderful weather. Oh Well!! We had a great time and enjoyed everyone's company. This was our first trip home with the twins and we now have to sleep in separate bedrooms - Tim slept with Charlie upstairs while I slept with the twins in the basement. Two nights I had to send Tim messages to come help with the babies otherwise I was able to handle the job solo. Tim and I LOVED helping Charlie get ready for Santa and "helping" Santa drink his chocolate milk and eat cookies. Tim did a wonderful job getting us home safely, only to get stuck in our driveway at 11:30pm! Tis the Season.

Charlie an hour into the trip and ready to get it over with

Aunt Tina did a great job entertaining ALL the boys

Our Lil Family Enjoying the Season

We decided to have our family Christmas the Sunday before. We spent the day baking goodies, visiting with Ft Paul over awesome ribs and brussel sprouts, and opening presents. Charlie loved "helping" the boys open their gifts.

Linc loves to be up and about

Charlie the Firefighter

He loves changing job titles every other day, most days he is Dr. Charles (thanks to Tina) and yes he got the doctor gear from Santa.

My dad has made a huge locker for all of his dress up hats, outfits, costumes etc. We can't wait to get it painted and filled. Thanks Papa!

Mom and the boys opening presents

Charlie with his Jr. rolling pin helping with the sugar cookies

Yes Charlie is standing on his old potty. He needs a stool for the kitchen desperately :)

Linc wanted to help as well

Cherishing every minute with the boys being this size, knowing they are my last babies...

Christmas Celebration with the Olsons

Before our trip to Rapid City for Christmas Tim and the boys celebrated with his family in Farmington. To see their fun visit, take a look at the Whittington Girls' blog. The Saturday before we left, we visited my cousin Amanda and her family and then went to Tim's grandparents' house. The boys were in their Christmas outfits to show their great grandparents how handsome they would be for Christmas. Tim's mom came to stay with us that weekend as well which the boys very much enjoyed.
