Family/Friends There is no line

The boys' "Uncle" Chuck and "Auntie" Sheena got here on Friday to have a sleepover. We were so excited to see them and very sad to see them go. They live in Nebraska and we miss them dearly. All three of the boys immediately snuggled with them which was great to see. Chuck is one of Lincoln's godfathers so it was great to see them be able to bond. While Tim and I took the boys to their baby well check up Charlie stayed home with Chuck and Sheena. They kept each other busy and dirty while we were gone. They brought their dog Malibu who is one of the most well mannered dogs EVER. After her and Pilsi got aquainted they took a few naps together and shared treats. I think Charlie's favorite part of their visit was the Easter Egg Hunt with them. Sheena brought yellow eggs for Charlie to hunt which made his day. Thanks Aunt Sheena - it was so thoughtful! We love you two and can't wait to see you again.

Sheena and Charlie after the yellow hunt

It was nice of Sheena to choose yellow (Charlie's favorite blankie is yellow)

Max joined the hunt with Sheena but Linc was still napping (The shots took alot out of him)

Counting the eggs

Malibu sniffin out the eggs for Charlie

Charlie and Chuck found another inbetween sips of beer :)

Our cheerleaders braving the windy day

This was after Chuck, Charlie, and Dad came upstairs in costume - I wasn't quick enough with the camera to catch the outfits

To The Next 6 Months

The boys have officially been with us for half a year already! We have no idea where the past 6 months have gone. We have wonderful memories from all the lil milestones that they have hit so far and cannot wait to see where life takes the 5 of us in the future. Max and Lincoln are very healthy and happy baby boys. Life is good at the Haggar-Olson household.

Maxwell George (1st time on the swingset)

26 in tall

16 lbs 12 oz

Calm, sensitive, happy, and very talkative lil boy who is starting to look so much like his older brother

Lincoln Thomas enjoying some fresh air

26.25 in tall

16 lbs 7 oz

Energetic, determined, wonderfully entertaining jabber box lil boy

Big brother showing Max the ropes

Papa would be so proud of Charlie swinging on the big boy swing. Last summer Charlie fell off that swing with Papa and until the day of this picture Charlie refused to get back on the swing. Hitting his own milestones!

Max was trying everything that day with his big bro - why not the sandbox as well?!

Can't wait for the warm weather so we don't have to bundle up so much

WAY TO GO CHARLES T!

Max will make his way around the whole living room by scooting on his back

We won't be able to use this stroller much longer b/c the boys are able to kick each other's carseats now

The boys' babysitter Pilsener - Linc thought he had bad breath

It is nice now that I can trust Charlie to go outside by himself with the dog. If anyone comes close to the yard Pilsi lets us know and Charlie always run to where he is if he gets scared of something.

Friends For A Reason

Before my sister moved here I felt as if I didn't have a "girlfriend/sister" to hang out with, shop with, run to after a bad day etc. I met Missy and her daughter, Luxie, in a music class that Charlie and I attended when he was 9 months old. They lived here in St. Peter up until last year, now living in Winthrop. We miss them terribly and aren't able to get together as often as we did.

We were pregnant at the same time but Missy newest daughter, Kjerssa was born on my birthday! It was great to finally get ALL our kids together and catch up on life's stories. When we put all the babies on the floor together they started jabbering and smiling from ear to ear. Luxie and Charlie went outside together and were unseperatable til 6 pm that evening. The girls bought the boys gifts which Charlie has broken it quite well. After a walk, trip the park, lots of snacks we parted ways until next time.

CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU THREE + MICHAEL AGAIN!

Everyone took a double take when we put these two together (are they the twins?!)

I love watching moments like these

A Bride's Special

On Saturday the boys' Aunt Heather and I went for a bride's day out. Her wedding is in 4 weeks and I wanted to take her out for a relaxing afternoon. We went for pedicures, a nice lunch, and games with the boys.

Heather, we can't wait for your special day and to share in your lifetime memories. You will be a beautiful bride and your day will be everything you want it to be!

Where the Wild Things Are

My boys are the wild things! (Charlie fav. book right now and he just saw the movie tonight)They roar their loud roars, gnash their soar gums, roll their big brown eyes, and show their lil claws. They are my everything. Life is crazy, busy, exciting, wonderful, stressful, BUT filled with hugs, kisses, and all the love a Momma could ask for. These three boys will make anyone's day. They have spent alot of time with their great Grandpa Rol in the last two weeks. All three of them talked to him, played with him, and made him forget about all his worries. Charlie talked to him about dinosaurs and trains, Lincoln jabbered and blew bubbles for 20 minutes straight one visit, and Max chattered softly and held on to Grandpa's finger as tight as he could. Charlie brought some of his books, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs was the one he chose to read with Grandma Millie and Grandpa Rol. Tim and I sat back and watched the three of them read the story...It was like we were hearing the story for the first time as we observed the three of them. Reading that story with Charlie now has a whole new meaning to us and it is a memory for the bank!

The Three Amigos

Already fighting over toys

Max's crazy hair after his bath

A smile to make anyone's day

Anytime Lincoln is mad or getting fussy for whatever reason, if Charlie gets in his face and starts to talk to him Lincoln immediately smiles and starts talking right back

Big brother passing on his wisdom

I love this picture

Max's first taste of squash - he ate all of his and the rest of Lincoln's

Yeah Linc didn't really care for the squash but did better with carrots

A Sister...

Is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit and a golden thread to the meaning of life.

My big sis has been to the house 6 times in the last two weeks to help out. Tim needed to spend time with his Grandpa, the babies are still teething and not sleeping that great at night, and I just needed an extra pair of hands. It was wonderful when the boys and I drove home from the cities (leaving Tim behind to stay with his Grpa) and found Aunt Tina here. She fed the babies and read Charlie his bedtime stories while I tried to regroup for the next day. Twice this week Tina brought me a tasty lunch and three times stayed to help with ALL of the kiddos.

Thanks so much Tina Marie! The boys and I love you and appreciate everything you do for us.

Come Back!!

Max and Tina gigglin' over silly people

Charlie and Aunt Tina working on their schedule for Maurices (CT is making Tina work overtime)

I'm not sure how much work she actually got done but Charlie loved "working" side by side

All Good Things Must Come To An End...

Last weeekend my sister, brother in law and nephew came to get Grandma and take her home. It was also Uncle Chris' first time meeting the boys and he couldn't put them down! It made Mary a little nervous b/c he had baby fever BIG time. It was great to see everyone and Charlie and Mak picked up right where they left off (giggling, playing with everything, and Mak's fav. wrestling).

Oh Gran! We miss you terribly but like I said good things always come to an end. We look forward to your next visit and cherish all the times we spent together.

Everyone needs moments like these! (after a few glasses of wine and Cranium)

Everyone's favorite picture of the weekend - Charlie in the middle of a sneeze

These two were suppose to be brothers! The whole weekend we got looks like we had TWO sets of twins

The Schweitzers and their nephews

They are as close as Mar and I - priceless moments

Aunt TeTe and her Maki

The four grandsons

I think Mak will be a zookeeper - feeding the animals grapes

Aunt Mar and Max swappin stories

These two wanted to take a baby home badly

The brother in laws together again

Surrounded by love

Double Trouble

I can see these two going to college together - and STILL jumping on their beds

Eating and throwing snow

Sledding with Dad and wearing Uncle Tim's gloves

So glad to finally meet his Uncle!

Grandma feeding the babies

Charlie sporting his new painting apron and yes it's Grandma's favorite - turtles!

One of their favorite things to do together

Thanks for everything Grandma! We Love You!
