Partying with our Neighbors!

We are so blessed to have such great neighbors!  We all moved in to our new houses within a month of each other.  We instantly found new friends!  We were fortunate enough to celebrate Max and Lincoln's birthday with them yesterday.  We went to Zero Gravity, played ping pong, opened presents, had a great dinner and yummy cake.
Thank you Thank you Thank you for a great night, great friendships, and being a great neighborhood support system!

We Walk, Cancer Runs!

Light the Night Walk 2013.  Quite the emotional night for the Olson family.  This year we participated, carrying gold balloons, and we were all very aware that we had gold and not white...  We attended the Remembrance Ceremony with heavy hearts and we all had the opportunity to add a flower in the vases representing our relationship with Linda (mother, daughter, aunt, Nama etc).
We will continue to do our part, raising awareness and supporting cancer patients.  This summer Charlie and our niece Karlie raised money by selling homemade bookmarks, cookies, and lemonade.  We are so proud of both of them!
Before the walk, we were able to celebrate Max and Lincoln's bday with Aunt Emily, Uncle JP, and cousins at Pizza Luce.  It was a great way to start the night.

Gardening gloves and pjs for the boys.
Being in the garden reminds the boys of Nama and her flowers

Charles T. enters First Grade!

First grade, here I come!  Charles T. was so ready for his first day of school that he got up early, drew his teacher a picture of the school, ran into my room yelling "1st day of school today Mama!".  I was nervous all morning that we would have tears and anxiety.  It was the exact opposite!  I was so proud of him BUT there were tears, from Mom!  So the bus pulls up, Charlie takes a deep breath, gives me a hug, walks up the bus stairs, turns around and smiles so big it reached his big brown beautiful eyes, then grabbed his seat, and blew his Mama a kiss out the window.  Words can't explain how I feel about this little boy that stole my heart 6 years ago.  My cup runneth over Charles Timothy!
