HE has Risen Indeed!

Happy Easter to all of you blog readers! We had an absolutely fabulous Easter in Rapid City with the Haggar clan. On Saturday we took the kids to Pottery 2 Paint to celebrate the spring birthdays (Charlie, Izzy, Sophie, and Kyra). It was so much fun, especially since we didn't have to clean up the mess! After church on Sunday, we had our usual (but a little healthier) family holiday meal. Then we hunted for eggs, opened birthday presents, and the kids enjoyed special birthday cakes that Grandma made each of them. There is no other way to spend the holidays!
The boys' uncle Chris, who works in North Dakota now, surprised us by coming home on Sunday. It was wonderful to see everyone and, as usual, extremely entertaining!
We are blessed with each person that completes our family and can't wait to meet the newest member in a few short months (Auntie Mary's belly got lots of hugs from the boys)!

The Olson Bunnies

We celebrated Easter with Tim's family today at Grandma Millie's. It was lots of fun to see everyone again and catch up. The boys loved chasing cousins around and collecting Easter eggs. Aunt Michele and Uncle Kris gave the boys bug/butterfly nets which they used all afternoon to "catch" things. Aunt Becky did a wonderful job putting the party together and we appreciate all of her hard work!
Thanks to everyone for filling the boys' bellies with goodies. Lincoln was sneaking treat after treat tonight and Tim says "you were told not to eat anymore!" and Lincoln says "well I did!". We both laughed and couldn't help but let it slide.
We hope everyone has a wonderful Holy Week!

All the Hard Work is Paying Off!

We celebrated 3 months of hard work (diet and exercise) together this weekend! Papa, Grandma, Aunt Tina, and I wanted to get together and "party". Between the 4 of us, we have lost about 125 lbs in 3 months! It was a great weekend of shopping and exercise.
Papa worked out with Tim and I on Friday morning and then the men went to the Timberwolves vs. Celtics basketball game. Grandma "boysat" so Tina and I could have dinner out together which was wonderful and entertaining! Saturday Tim and I went for a run in the morning and then the women went shopping. We had a very successful shopping trip w/ our new bods! While we were in the cities, Tim and Papa took the boys to 7 mile creek to meet Uncle Terry for a hike.
The boys painted with Grandma and built lots of log homes with the lincoln logs that Papa made himself!
I am so proud of everyone that has joined me in this journey for a healthier lifestyle. The changes are so noticeable, from physical changes to attitude changes! So proud and blessed to be apart of this family change!
