Third Time's a Charm

Tim's sister Emily gave birth to her third daughter on February 25 at 8:39. Avery Katherine weighs 7lbs 11 oz and 19.5 in long. Mom and baby are doing wonderfully and will be going home on Friday morning. We drove to Hutchinson last night to see the newest addition to our family. Charlie was extremely excited to meet Avery and congratulate his aunt and uncle.

Tim The Tool Man Olson

Tim's first woodworking project for the house was this shelf for above our dining room blinds. It turned out awesome and adds so much to the room. The engineer had to make sure all cuts were perfect and it was hung as level as possible. Charlie of course had to be apart of the action. He was holding the ladder still for Dad, but had to wear his hard hat for safety. :)

Something Smells Fishy!

Every year on President's Day Tim goes ice fishing with his Uncle Kris and cousin Caleb. He forgot the camera on the ice but I got some pics when he got home. He brought home 3 bass and 3 Northerns. One day Charlie will be out there with his Daddy running from one hole to the next.

They were still "kickin" when he got home - yucky!!

Charlie wanted to get right in there to help

When Tim pulled the Northern out of the bucket Charlie yelled "Alligator"

Love is in the Air!

We had a great Valentine's Day in St. Peter with Sir Charles. Tim's mom came down to have dinner with her date, Charles T. while we went to dinner with friends. Charlie was definitely spoiled this year getting cupcakes from Jennie, Jed, and Keira - School Bus from Gama - Savings Bond from Papa - Thomas DVD from Nama - and a cash register from Mom and Dad.

This was Charlie's very first Valentine. It was from his friend Keira (our neighbor) and her mom. The inside said "I choo choo choose you to be my Valentine"

The homemade cards are the best!!

My hubby out did himself this year with 2 dozen roses and a new robe for me :)

Charlie's Valentine treat from DQ - a dilly bar

Nama got Charlie a new Thomas video which we have already watched 3 times!

(in between pjs and play clothes) Mom and Dad got Charlie a cash register and Gama and Papa got him the school bus from Little People

"See Papa, See Gama"

We headed to Sioux Falls on Friday to see my mom, dad, brother Gabe, neice Kyra, Aunt Debbie, and Grandpa Ed. It was so nice to spend quality time with Kyra, which we don't normally get. Grandpa Ed definitely enjoyed spending time with Charlie and Kyra. Charlie even shared his grapes with him, which was a huge step for him. Grandpa ate whatever Charlie gave him. The kiddos had a blast swimming at the hotel with their daddies and playing with Gama and Papa.
