Santa Comes to the Hills

A recap of our holiday week in Rapid City...lots of board games, 2 Christmas celebrations, 2 church services, Pottery 2 Paint with Grandma, a hike in the hills with Papa, bowling with the fam, a few games of pool in the loft, celebration of Jason's 35th birthday, RUSH hockey game, and more board games.
Wonderful way to celebrate Christmas, surrounded by family, hugs, love, and unspoken support for those things that ail us.  We have been fortunate enough to spend so much time with both the Olson and Haggar sides of our family in the month of December.  It helps remind us who is here for us and what is most important in life.  FAMILY!

BOWLING!

The women bowled against the men  - we tied 1 to 1

Jason and Tim beat Dad and I pretty bad thanks to me.  UGH (I'm rusty)

GO RUSH!

This has become a new tradition now for us around Christmas.  Grandma takes all the grandkids for the night and we get to go to the game with Papa.  And they win every time we are home!

Time for meat pies and lamb!

We don't all fit around one table anymore!

Week #52 Emotive

From Tim's excitement to Lincoln's pouting, this picture makes me laugh.
This is our New Year's Eve tradition and I thought it was only fitting to have this be my last picture for the photo challenge.
Faye - thanks for being my partner with this and opening my eyes to the underlining reasons we take pictures.  We all look at a picture differently and it means something unique to all of us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Week #51 Wild card

This is my wild card picture but also would have been great for SUNSHINE!
