Growing Like Weeds

The boys had their first doc's visit on Friday (2 wk check up) and we were very pleased with what he had to say. When we brought Max home from the hospital he weighed 5 lbs 3 oz and now he is 6lb 6 oz! Lincoln was 5lb 13 oz coming home and now he is 6 lbs 11 oz! They have definitely pasted their birth weights and Tim and I can see the changes daily. Their muscle tone is excellent and starting to have more awake time during the day. As far as personalities go, they are staying true to what they did in the womb. Max continues to let Linc call the shots. Tim and I have concurred the schedule as much as you can with newborns.

Charlie continues to make the adjustment just like Mom and Dad are. He loves to help us change diapers, get pacifiers when needed, and tells us when someone is unhappy. We saw a few tantrums in the first week but he is a wonderful big brother! On Saturday Uncle Terry asked Charlie when we do when the babies cry and he responded with "We say - What's wrong honey?" We all had a laugh with that one, must listen to Mom too much. Lord knows I wouldn't be able to do this w/o my Charlie.

We continue to get phone calls and emails from family and friends that are willing to come to us which is wonderful. We don't know when we are going to feel ready to take these lil ones too far from home. So thank you for understanding and showing your support!

Max and Linc sporting their outfits from Aunt Teresa

One says "Going to Grandpa's" and the other says "Off to Grandma's"

More Tummy Time - need to be facing each other

Pic on one of Grandma's blankies

Their first bath - Charlie was in charge of rinsing (scary for mom and dad)
