A Dude Became a Dad!

Timothy Jon became a father on May 7th, 2007. And since then he is the father of three beautiful sons. Even though I wasn't able to meet Tim's Dad, I know that Jon is EXTREMELY proud of his son and the father he has become.

The greatest gift we ever had came from God, we call him DAD!

Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him Dad

It's always a treat to wish Happy Birthday to people so sweet

We went to Tim's Aunt Nancy's house on Saturday to celebrate the summer birthdays (Rol and I always celebrated ours together). Of course, like today, it was rainy and gloomy outside but the atmosphere in the house was warm and entertaining. Nancy and her boyfriend Art threw a wonderful party for the family and it ended with a trip to see the Falls in her neighborhood. Charlie enjoyed everyone's company but Max and Linc wanted to stay close to Mom and Dad (much like Charlie at this age).

Thanks to Nancy and Art for a wonderful afternoon and great food! Thanks to everyone for Charlie's birthday gifts as well. He came straight home to build his dinosaurs from Aunt Maridee, Uncle Erik, and cousin Julia. :)

Tradition is an explanation for acting without thinking”

We had a lot to celebrate this year during our girls' weekend in April (just got pics from Mar), the birth of the twins, Sarah's baby girl, Mary's new house and her husband coming home from Iraq, Tina's new job, Aunt Debbie coming out of retirement, Mom's new grandbabies, and most importantly Aunt Kathy overcoming cancer. We are so blessed to have each other in our lives, to laugh with, to cry on a shoulder, to defend til death, to call numerous times a day, and to love and support from miles away. I am so lucky to call these women my family! Each of you gives me strength and inspiration to help me live my life the way it was intended. I love you all and cannot wait for next year's festivities!

My sisters and I always say that we are going to be like my mom and her sisters in 30 years - still getting together to eat, laugh our asses off, shop, and bitch about life's unfairness!

A Rootin Tootin Good Time

A visit from Aunt Mary was filled with laughter and memories for us to hang onto until next time. Grandma dropped Mary off on her way to St. Cloud to celebrate her sister's birthday. Thinking about the weekend brings tears to my eyes because all I feel is LOVE. This post is full of quotes from one of Charlie and I's favorite books "Love is a Handful of Honey" By Giles Andreae.

Thank you Mary for a wonderful weekend and all the time spent with the boys. We can't wait to snuggle and laugh with you again!

Even the flowers are bursting with love when they're dancing about in the breeze

Chutes And Ladders

Love is that warm cozy feeling, a cuddle that tells you you're sweet

Love is what makes you throw open the curtains and somersault 'round on your head

GAME NIGHT

Love's skipping out in the morning and hoping the day never ends

Love is that fluttery feeling you feel when a butterfly taps on your toes

Love is when somebody quietly listens to everything you've got to say

Charles T. took his Aunties on a date while Mary was here, the new Shrek movie and chicken at Patricks. On their way home Charlie said to them "I sure hope Momma got some rest while we were out". haha I guess I needed a nap that day :)

Love's when you can't stop describing just what you're been doing all day

Love is that feeling of laughing out loud when somebody tickles your feet

Love's when you want to show someone you care so you snuggle up close and hold hands

My parents always have birthday dinners for all of us and Tina and I missed Mary's (which we were very bummed about) so we decided to have another to celebrate with our sister/aunt

Love is unwrapping your treats

CHEERS

Love's what you feel when you all get together and go on adventures with family

Love is a great bedtime story that takes you to faraway lands

Love is that high-flying feeling that makes you leap out of your bed

Love is that last little cuddle and kiss that helps you sleep safe through the night
