How We Are Passing the Time

Well it seems as though time is standing still some days AND nights where I just watch the clock tick. On Wednesday we had to make a trip to the ER because I had contractions that didn't let up after two hours at home. Charlie's Aunt Tina ran over so we could go to the hospital and get checked out. After three and a half hours of poking and prodding the contractions calmed down and we were able to go home b/c I wasn't dilating anymore than I already was. In the end, I was told the contractions were brought on due to dehydration and stress. Tim and I are 100% focusing on the health of all 3 of our boys and nothing else. There are no restrictions as of right now on my activity except for not picking Auden and Charlie up. My lil man is getting use to this and now asks "Mommy can we snuggle on the couch?". My answer everytime is YES, of course!

Today we had another rate of growth ultrasound and here are the results - Baby A is 3 lbs 4 oz with a heartrate in the 140's AND breach again. Baby B is 3lbs 8 oz with a heartrate in the 150's AND breach. I am at 30wks and the boys are both measuring at 31 + wks. My tummy is measuring at 39cm which obviously explains the uncomfortableness. I would do anything for these babies, even if that means no to little sleep, two heads stuck in my rib cage, and a bellly that feels like a giant bruise (seriously). After being at the doc's office for hours today I received a phone call from all 4 of my siblings asking how it went and how I was. It is a wonderful feeling knowing that even though I can't see them or hug them, they are still with me through this whole thing. Thank you to all of you - I love you more than words can describe and can't wait to share these babes with everyone.

The following pictures are just random goofball pictures of the three of us enjoying each other's company and passing the time. Enjoy

Pilsiner's 1st bath at home - very much a success and saved 30 bucks!

Charlie nursing Pilsi back to health ( he was coughing and it made CT nervous so he gave him water)

Bonding with his brothers from the outside - they all 3 enjoyed it

Mommies were made for stickers

Hey Mel - glad to hear things are Ok with the babies and they are steadily growing - they will be 4 lbs (+) in no time! I'm feeling pretty miserable with 1 full-term baby, I'm sure you are getting uncomfortable quickly with (2) 30-weekers. You're doing great, just hang in there. It won't be long and they will be full-term and ready for lots of care and attention... and from the looks of things there won't be a lack of TLC for them in the Haggar-Olson household! You might need to exchange Pilsner for a girl though so you aren't completely outnumbered ;-) LOL!
