A Trip Down Memory Lane

Last weekend we were in Sioux Falls to see Grandpa Ed, Charlie's Papa, Gama, Aunt Mary, and cousin Mak. We had a lot of fun and the tears ran for Mom and Charlie on the way home. We went to the Washington Pavillion and Science Museum on Saturday which is the high school that my mom and Grandpa Ed graduated from. It was awesome to see and hear the old stories of where their classrooms were etc. Charlie gave Grandpa Ed a ton of kisses because he felt bad that Papa told him to steal Grpa Ed's cookie while he was in the bathroom. He was in heaven and couldn't stop smiling b/c of this lil boy giving him all the love in the world. We can't wait to see everyone again. Charlie has been saying "Papa lives in Rapid City. He's comin' soon to see me. Gama and Mak in Rapid City too."

"It's great to see you again Cuz"

Mom and Dad trying to build a Lincoln cabin for the boys at the museum

Charlie thought we needed a pole right in the middle of the cabin

Mak thought the walls were too tall to jump over but tried anyways.

Building a space ship

Dad and Charlie testing the wind tube

Gama, Charlie, and Mak inviting Papa in the tornado tunnel

"NASA here I come"

Playing at the water table - his favorite

Gama and Charlie in the slide tunnel

Charlie thought this thing was great until he was getting "sprayed" in the face

Charlie doing a giant puzzle

Charlie discovering fossils and Grandpa Ed sleeping in the background

"I love you Gama"

High fives for Aunt Mary

Mary and Mak swimming (he had to wear a shirt b/c of irritated skin)

Charlie all the way under!!!

"Lets get out of here Mak, my mom just tried to drown me!"

The dudes have to stick together (CT has 3 girl cousins on each side!)

Sisters and Sons

There was only one car open so the boys shared like they did with everything all weekend

"Oh Grandpa you're pretty funny"

The boys saying their good byes to Grandpa Ed (I think Grpa was already sleeping)
