Great Uncle Terry's Birthday

Uncle Terry's birthday is May 4th so we were able to celebrate with him the day after Charlie's party. My cousin Alex and his wife Kristi had their baby Indira there so Izzy had another girl to play with. After lunch everyone was ready for a nap and some "quiet" time - if there is such a thing when you're a parent.

Fun Weekend with Family

Family started to show up for Charlie's party on Thursday and trickled in from there. Malaki, Aunts Mary and Christina, and Uncle Chris spent the weekend at our house and Isabelle, Papa, and Nana stayed in a hotel in Mankato. We were entertained from the minutes they arrived with Mak stealing Izzy's food to the bathtub full of little hinnies! Enjoy the pics

Charlie's 1st Birthday Party!!!

We had a crazy busy weekend and an awesome birthday party for Charles T. His cousins from Rapid City came on Thurs and Friday to help him eat cake, open presents, and get dirty. Charlie's party was everything we could have imagined it to be - many friends and family attended, lots of COOL summer toys, and donations for a local women and children's shelter. He has already been enjoying his new wagon from Nama Olson and his picnic table from mom and dad. He is patiently waiting for dad to put his new jungle gym/swing set together from Papa and Nana Haggar.

Thanks again to everyone that was able to come to the party and for the wonderful gifts of generosity!!

First of Many Nama Playdates

Today was the first of many playdates for Charlie, his cousins, and Nama. Because of the crummy weather, we went to the Children's Museum and had a blast. Charlie got bumped into, knocked over, and hit in the head with the camera but still came out with a smile on his adorable face. His favorite part as you will see was the water exhibit. Clarie and Charlie were really bummed when Mommies said "no more water". It was a great place for "little" people to spend time when it is rainy and cloudy outside. Can't wait to do it again!
