Snow Place Like Home!

We took the boys sledding and they loved it. It didn't last very long due to the chill in the air but there was lots of giggles and smiles.

Tim and I did a little experience with our hats. Everyone seems to have a different opinion as to who looks like who so we thought we would see if we could tell this way. Aunt Nancy told us on Saturday that she thinks Max looks like me. WHAT DO YOU THINK???? Comment if you'd like - we would love to hear from you!

The boys' Great Grandma Millie's birthday was January 8th (1929). We were able to get up to see her today and take her out for a special birthday lunch. Tim's aunts Becky and Nancy joined us for lunch. They always make time to see us when we are visiting Grma and the boys love catching up with them. The boys had a great time playing and eating ice cream with their great grandma. We are so blessed to have her in our lives and there is nothing but smiles when we are together!

Grma pulled this toy out of its original box and told us that Tim's dad use to play with it when he was little. She wanted the boys to be ohhh soo careful with it and they were.

The Aunts took the boys for a walk to the bar and Lincoln decided he needed to see behind the bar! So he walked back there to see if he could mix a drink.

PRICELESS

It is about all the MEMORIES, not the stuff!! The quality time that the boys were able to spend with their Grandma these past two weeks is PRICELESS! Tim and I both have tons of memories that include our grandparents and we are so happy that our kids will too. Whether it is reading books, taking a trip to Willy Waldo's for a cup of JOE, painting, playing trucks or dressing up like dragons, the boys will have these memories and pictures to hang on to.
Grandma did everything you think she would do for us in a matter of two weeks: dates for Tim and I, dates for CT with Mom and Dad, laundry, cooking, changing diapers, reading the same book over and over, and cleaning. Thanks a million Mom!! A Big Thanks also goes out to Papa for letting Gran stay with us and picking her up this weekend!! We appreaciate the fact that my parents do most of the driving to see us (knowing it is easier for them to get here). Love you both very much and can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks!!

My dad was throwing Max in the air and making him laugh like crazy and out of nowhere Max says "PAPA"! First time he said it and my dad heard it!! Now that is priceless!

OK, OK! It was Keira, Jenni, and Grandma!!

Tim and I have been fondue"ing" on New Year's Eve ever since we got married. We were joined by our neighbors, Jenni and Keira (Jed was out of town) and Grandma. It was easier this year because we didn't have to hold the babies and try to "cook" our food.

Daddy and CT enjoying the dessert fondue - chocolate with a variety of fruit. It was the only part of the dinner CT participated in. Keira and Charlie enjoyed PB and J sandwiches with apple slices. Maybe next year he will eat with us.
