Picnic and Play @ Storybook Island

Saturday morning most of us went to Storybook Island for picnic and fun in the HOT sun. Mak was so excited to be there that he decided not to join us for the picnic part and went straight into the park :) The children and the sun drained all the energy out of the adults and it wasn't even 11 am yet!

Aunt Mel's girls for the day! I absolutely loved every minute with my neices and nephew this weekend. Sophie gives you these incredibly heartfelt smiles that warm you to the core. Izzy is a georgous 3 year old that is going to turn heads in her future. She is full of stories and hugs that are priceless.

This was a fun ride until Charlie somehow slipped out of his chair and flew through the air landing on his back! All of the kids got hurt at least once at the park - I guess you could say it was an eventful morning.

Malaki couldn't be a better combination of his parents. He has Chris' way of making everyone laugh and meeting new friends wherever he goes. He is Mary thru and thru when it comes to him protecting the ones he loves.

Love Never Fails

On Saturday afternoon Tim and I attended Steve's wedding, one of Tim's old college roommates. We were able to go alone and enjoy the evening while Grandma and Papa took Charlie on the 1880 train and took care of the babes all night. Charlie had his first sleep over at Aunt Mary and Uncle Chris' that night. It went well because he was able to sleep with Tina :)

Home Is Where The Heart Is

Hangin out at the homestead was what it always is, loud, entertaining, chaotic, but always a great time! It will always be my home no matter where I am now or will be in the future. It makes me so happy to share it with my children and Tim. It is a place I will always run to! Love you all and can't wait for the next visit. In the pics below, we celebrated Aunt Tina's upcoming birthday with everyone. My mom and Tim made an awesome birthday breakfast for all of us before we hit the road.

Thanks to Mary and Grandma, Papa is starting an old Haggar tradition and Charlie couldn't wait to participate along with Kyra. Building railroad tracks just like Grandpa Ed.

In The Name of Love

Jake Oberle, the little brother of one of Tim's best friends, tied the knot on Saturday. Tim and I were able to go ALONE! Thanks to Ali (my cousin) and Aunt Tina we were able to enjoy an "adult" night with wonderful friends. The boys had a wonderful time and slept through the night!! I told Tina that we need to have her and Ali over every night. Charlie told us everything he got to do and eat - very pleased with his sitters. Thanks Ladies!

To Jake and Becky - Tim and I wish you the absolute happiest future together! Sitting there witnessing your beautiful vows and seeing the commitment and love between the two of you brought Tim and I back to the beginning. Thank you for that and a wonderful evening!

Double the Fun

June 25th the boys hit 9 months old! We have no idea where the time has gone and still don't know what is in store for us in the next 9 months. These two babies have been very unpredictable. They both prefer table food over jarred, Linc loves milk over anything, and Max will eat your finger if you let him. Every single night is different, Linc is now understanding that he doesn't need to wake up in the middle of the night but I wish Max was there as well. Max wants to go go go and Linc wants to investigate toys while sitting and observe others around him. Max was the first to pop a tooth thru and Linc followed shortly (happened on vacation). Both boys are extremely talkative and full of love. Slobbery kisses from Linc and hugs from Max complete our days.
