Papa Jon Look-a-Like
This was a nice way to spend the day on Saturday after receiving our heartbreaking news. Charlie is the best thing that has happened to Tim and I. When the Good Lord thinks we are ready for another, I'm certain we will be blessed with another wonderful, kind soul like Charles Timothy. We just want to thank everyone that has given us their unconditional support, prayers, and love. We appreciate all of you very much and thank the Lord for everything that we do have. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Count Your Blessings
Last Wednesday we headed to the Hills for turkey and lamb - YUMMMY! We had a great time with the whole family, except for Mary's husband Christopher (in Iraq). On Friday, Charlie had a special boys' trip to Cabella's and an animal museum with Uncle Gabe, Papa, and his Daddy. They had a blast and Charles T. came home with loaded arms! His Uncle Gabe bought him his 1st bike! Papa got him more train track, train cars, and trucks. I don't think he has a favorite - can't stop playing with everything.
On Saturday we all headed to the Rapid City Rush hockey game (except for Gabe - who had his daughter). It was awesome, however, Tim O. and Tim H. had the best seats. The girls weren't able to sit by them but we still enjoyed ourselves.

Make Room For One More!
On October 29th, we took the test that only has 2 answers and both are pink. Tim and Charlie read the test together and let me know that we had two lines. I took the test to satisfy Tim, not because I thought it was positive. To my surprise, we will have an addition to the family in early July! We had an ultrasound already because I wasn't sure of the date. The first doctor's appointment will be December 12th. We plan to make sure Charlie plays an active role to help prepare him for the baby. His first new discovery was the stirrups on the ultrasound table!! (a little embarrassing)
So far things are going well. As of yesterday and today, I am not able to eat anything but crackers and water. As I'm getting sick in the bathroom, Charlie sits there and laughs while one of the babies I watch claps her hands! It is definitely the time and place for an audience don't you think?! I was never this sick with Charlie so maybe it's a girl - who knows.
We are very blessed to be given the opportunity to love and support another child. Charlie has filled our hearts with an unbelieveable amount of happiness. I can't imagine loving another child the way I love Charles Timothy but my mom assures me that it is possible. Lately, he is talking a mile a minute and calling his father by first name.
"Way to go Dad! Now you know I wanted a brother right?"
Charlie accompanied us at the first ultrasound
